The software maker is offering customers in foreign countries the option of having their data stored outside US borders.
According to The Verge, the announcement comes after revelations that the NSA was using their networks to snoop-on citizens of Brazil and the European Union.
Although, there is evidence that the NSA has broken into the private networks of Google andYahoo, Microsoft's offer of non-US data storage would allow users to have an additional layer of security.
