Hyderabad: Of the many promises made by the TRS party during their election campaigning, Telangana increment was one. According to sources, KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, now focuses on the issue of Telangana increment. No sooner he took up the reins of the Chief Minister than in his first ever speech as the Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR has announced the special increment from the stage of Telangana formation day celebration at Secunderabad parade grounds on June 2.
According to sources, the finance department has already chalked out the details concerning this matter. It is learnt that a sum of Rs 200cr would be required to meet out the proposal. The final decision on this very matter would be taken by KCR, very soon!! As many as four lakh employees of Telangana would get benefitted by this increment, reportedly.
The finance department has engrossed in the preparation of the first ever budget of Telangana from the other end. Instructions have been given by the finance department to various other departments to project their requirements. The details should reach the finance department latest by the end of this month.
It has been clearly notified by the FD that the issues mentioned in the election manifesto are to be given top priority while projecting the budgetary requirements. As this budget turns to be the first ever budget of Telangana, it was also instructed to bring out the budget proposals without any flaws.
