Telangana TDP President L RamanaHyderabad: The Telangana TDP asked the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to stop raking up passions and focus on solving the problems being faced by the State. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, the T TDP president L Ramana told KCR not to politicise sensitive issues like transfer of seven mandals in Khammam district to Andhra Pradesh.

“When the UPA government decided that the Polavaram project would be taken up as a national project, the TRS did not object and now it was making an issue just for political gains. As the State has been bifurcated, the Chief Minister should stop inciting the people by making comments against the neighbouring residuary Andhra Pradesh,” Ramana stated. There were many issues in both the new States and the two Chief Ministers should discuss and resolve those.

“KCR is trying to blame AP for everything and present a picture as if the people and government of Andhra are against the people of Telangana,” he said.
Another TDP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu condemned the selective demolitions of buildings in Ayyappa society in Hyderabad by the GHMC. He questioned the procedure adopted, as most of the buildings demolished belonged to the middle class or lower middle class people.

Narsimhulu demanded the government to take action against all those, who had property in the 625 acres of Gurukul Trust land. “The politicians and powerful men have not been touched. The GHMC has only targeted the properties of middleclass people, who constructed the buildings with hard earned money. The state government should take over the entire land and distribute it to the poor. Even a 100 sq yard plot would be sufficient for the poor people,” Narasimhulu pointed. KCR had promised houses for the poor and he should take up the project from this land, he added.
