SCR GM reviews preparations for Pushkaram, South Central Railway (SCR) has accorded top priority for works relating to Godavari Pushkarams. SCR general manager PK Srivastava on Tuesday reviewed the progress of the ongoing works that include track renewals, construction of road over bridges/under bridges and level crossings, etc.
Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) has accorded top priority for works relating to Godavari Pushkarams. SCR general manager PK Srivastava on Tuesday reviewed the progress of the ongoing works that include track renewals, construction of road over bridges/under bridges and level crossings, etc.
The Railway budget allotted to SCR funds for the development works. As much as Rs 93 crore was earmarked for improving passenger amenities, Rs 47 crore for traffic facilities, Rs 64 crore for level crossing gates, Rs 147 crore for road over bridges/road under bridges, Rs 381 crore for track renewals, Rs17 crore for bridges and Rs 47 crore for staff amenities. Sunil Kumar Agarwal, Additional General Manager and Divisional Railway Managers from all the six divisions participated in the meeting.
