TNGOs president G DeviprasadHyderabad: While alleging that Kamalanathan Committee was biased towards AP government, the TNGOs expressed their resentment towards some of its recommendations. They demanded that the distribution of employees amongst both the States should be solely based on the nativity factor.

Speaking to media persons, after holding an emergency meeting, the TNGOs president G Deviprasad found fault with the Committee recommendations where it had sanctioned additional provisions like 'options'.

He demanded that the State government absorb all the employees based on nativity and maintained that amongst the spouse one must be from Telangana for continuing in the State.

Under the 18 F provisions, he felt that there was a need for revising the recommendations and demanded removal of 'home town' section from the 'options'.

Welcoming the recommendation in class IV employees, where it had suggested continuing with the current State, Deviprasad asked the committee to be more rational in distribution of the employees. He demanded there must be a mechanism to identify the nativity of the employees and an inquiry into recruitment at the Zonal and District level. He also demanded the Committee make public the departments which are in Schedule 9 and 10.

According to TNGOs, the committee was dealing with only 5 per cent of the employees. It demanded the Chief Ministers of both States to sort the issues out and supported the idea of 1956 as cut-off year for deciding the nativity.
