ABVP activists stage ‘rasta roko’
Fee-Reimbursement: ABVP Activists Stage ‘Rasta Roko’. Activists of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyardhi Parishad (ABVP) on Friday staged ‘rasta roko’ here after taking out a rally from the guest house to the bus-station demanding immediate payment of fee-reimbursement.

Zaheerabad: Activists of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyardhi Parishad (ABVP) on Friday staged ‘rasta roko’ here after taking out a rally from the guest house to the bus-station demanding immediate payment of fee-reimbursement.
Sudhakar Reddy, ABVP bhag convener, who led the protest, alleged that many students were forced to discontinue studies following the delay in fee reimbursement; they were also facing financial problems.
He called upon the Telangana State government not to ‘play with the lives of students’ and make the fee payment immediately since many were depending on government assistance to pursue college education.
Reddy warned of intensifying the students’ agitation if the fee reimbursement was not effected immediately. Among those who took part in the demonstration were Venkat, Harshavardhan Reddy, Madusudhan, Anandeeswar, Ashok, Gopal,V Darshan Reddy, Ramakrishna Reddy, Vijay, Dattu, Srinu, Ashok Reddy, Mahesh, Damodar Reddy, Manoj, Praveen.
