Student mowed down by water tanker

Korutla (Karimnagar): A Harish (11), a sixth class student of a private school, was killed on the spot when a water tanker of the Korutla municipality hit him here on Wednesday. Accident took place at Gadi Burju while he was crossing the road near his school.

Harish died instantly and his body was shifted to the government hospital. Victim’s family members and relatives entered into an argument with police to arrest the driver of the water tanker. Later, they staged a dharna on Korutla-Nizamabad highway along with Harish body.
