Udhari Gopaal, president, GHMEU said, “The work if taken up by the GHMC would cost only Rs 70 crore but the civic body is paying Ramky Group of Companies Rs 200 crore. Also Ramky Group got into a contract with the GHMC before the State was divided and now the agreement is not valid.” “If the agreement is to continue, GHMC should take permission from Telangana government,” he further said. The GHMC allotted 360 acres of land at Keesara to Ramky Group.
