The Director of Medical Education (DME), who received the copy of the order, distributed it to the striking junior doctors. While demanding the resumption of their duties in 48 hours, the Court has asked the DME to take disciplinary action if the junior doctors fail to adhere to the court order after the end of the deadline.

The junior doctors, who went into a huddle, are said to be in a dilemma on whether or not to call off the strike. The junior doctors have been on strike for more than two months. Several appeals by the Director of Health went in vain.
