Singareni Thermal Power Plant
Singareni Thermal Power Plant, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday inspected the progress of work on 1200 MW thermal power plant being constructed by the Singareni Collieries at Jaipur, in the district.
CM inspects project works
Mancherial (Adilabad): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday inspected the progress of work on 1200 MW thermal power plant being constructed by the Singareni Collieries at Jaipur, in the district.
He arrived at the plant in a helicopter from Hyderabad.
Ministers Jogu Ramanna, Indrakaran Reddy, MLAs Nallala Odelu, Chinnanna, Kova Lakshmi, Rekhasyam Nayak, Diwakar Rao, TRS district president Satish, Singareni CMD Sutirtha Bhattacharya, Thermal Power Plant MD Sukumar and other high officials extended a warm welcome to KCR.
The Chief Minister inspected works in progress at the power plant. He enquired from Singareni officials about the construction and asked them to complete the work at the earliest.
He said the plant would help in easing the power crisis in the State significantly.
TRS secretary-General K Kesava Rao accompanied KCR.
