Post bifrucation, the two Telugu States-Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are fighting over several issues including Nagarjuna Sagar, division of institutions, Eamcet among others. Governor ESL Narsimhan's repeated attempts to make peace between the the heads of states who are at loggerheards have failed to yield results.
However, ESL made another attempt on Republic Day when he met both Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad.
The governor is believed to have told them in no uncertain terms that the duo has to sort out issues amicably. ESL also made it clear that the fight between the two states must not put the students in trouble.
