4,500 youths attend Army recruitment

Khammam: About 4,500 aspirants seeking career in Indian Army turned up at Prakasam Stadium in Kothagudem to participate in the recruitment rally on the third day on Friday.

As many as 1,982 aspirants who have gone through the height test and cleared the verification of certificates on Thursday took the running test on Friday.

Out of these aspirants, only 369 youths made it to the physical fitness test.

However, 71 of them were disqualified in the physical fitness test while 298 made it to the medical tests.

Army recruitment Director A.K. Rohilla said that they will conduct running test to the applicants who enrolled their names on Friday.
