CLASSIFICATION OF SCs

Karimnagar: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) president Manda Krishna Madiga said that the responsibility of Chandrababu Naidu does not end by merely stating that he is supporting the classification of SCs, Naidu should introduce the Bill in coming session of AP Assembly session and send it to Delhi.

Speaking to the media here, he said it was the duty of Chandrababu Naidu to lead an all-party delegation to Delhi along with his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekar Rao to make the categorisation into an Act as the TDP was ruling AP State and it was also part of NDA government at the Centre.

Krishna Madiga demanded that the Central government should adopt a Bill in the ongoing budget session of Parliament on classification of Scheduled Castes as it was a long-pending demand of Madigas. He warned both AP and TS governments that if they failed to respond positively to the MRPS demand, the MRPS will organise a Chalo Assembly programme on March 18.

Lakhs of activists will take part in the agitation. Krishna Madiga criticised Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for not providing representation to women in his Cabinet. He said the MRPS workers will take part in dharnas in front of Ambedkar statues in all the district headquarters on March 8 in protest against the discrimination shown against women by KCR.
