Swine Flu death toll reaches 71

Swine Flu scare is not going down as two women succumbed to death due to the H1N1 virus in the state. The death toll in Telangana for Swine Flu now stands at 71 in this year.

One of the victims, from Santosh Nagar was in her last trimester of pregnancy. Nodal officer of Gandhi Hospital, Dr K. Narsimulu said that the woman came in with severe complications which later deteriorated and they could not help the victim.

The swine flu positive report came after her death. A senior doctor said that the samples are being tested immediately but in some cases, reports have come after two days.

The other victim was undergoing treatment for three days before succumbing to death.
