Chief Minister who announced huge salary hikes to Telangana employees, ZP, chair persons, ZPTC-MPTC members, corporators and Mayors was in quandary when the sarpanchs also demanded a hike in their salaries.
So the sarpanchs planned to demand a honorarium of Rs.20,000 at a felicitation event organised at the Secretariat on Friday. An annoyed CM cancelled his participation in the event. The TS government has already given several perks to the Sarpanchs including cheque power etc and their new demand certainly irritated KCR who believes that nobody should question or demand anything from him.
