KTR blames Congress for nation’s woes

Warangal: Panchayat Raj and IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao has alleged that the corruption of successive Congress governments was the root cause of all the troubles in the state and country. He described Congress and corruption as ‘conjoined twins’. The decades of Congress rule has thrown the country into the clutches of poverty, irregularities and malpractices at all levels, he said speaking after launching developmental works at Hasanparthy on the outskirts of Warangal on Sunday.

Referring to the Congress leaders’ allegations over irregularities in Mission Kakatiya works, the Minister Tarakarama Rao said he would be ready to face any punishment if the Congress leaders prove their allegations. The Congress leaders have been making baseless comments against the TRS government. The Mission Kakatiya works have been executed with 100 percent transparency, he addedThe Opposition parties, TDP and Congress were lacking issues and hence levelling false charges against the government.

The TRS government would deliver all promises it made and also correct the things that went wrong during Congress and TDP rule in the past 60 years.Earlier in the day, Tarakarama Rao laid foundation stone for road works taken up with a cost of Rs 11.36 crore in Wardhannapet and Parkal Assembly segments.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, he said the State government was adopting a two-pronged approach of development and welfare for achieving ‘Golden Telangana’. The people should appreciate the good work done by the State government and extend support. The governments’ decision to supply fine quality rice to welfare hostel has made the students residing at the hostels consume quality food eaten by the rich.
