Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao appreciated police personnel for taking part in tank restoration works with the initiative of Superintendent of Police Badugula Sumathi. He praised policemen for participating in social service activities. Harish slammed previous governments in the united AP for implementing social welfare schemes without people’s participation.

He pointed out that Telangana government has been giving priority to involve people in most of the government schemes.The Minister directed the officials concerned to blacklist those contractors, who failed to complete tank restoration works in stipulated time after obtaining tenders from the government. He asked contractors to speed up tank restoration works.


He warned that police would file cases against those who grab tank lands. Harish Rao said that cameras would be installed on National Highways in the district to bring down increasing number of road accidents. District Collector Rahul Bojja, MLA Chinta Prabhakar and other officials were also present.
