Mala Sangam protests against social boycott

Vailpoor Mandal Anksapoor Mala Dalit Sangam on Monday staged a dharna in front of Nizamabad District Collectorate protesting against the social boycott of Mala community people. Sangam members demanded the government to remove social boycott imposed on them by the Village Development Committee (VDC) of Anksapoor and take action against the VDC members.
Nizamabad: Vailpoor Mandal Anksapoor Mala Dalit Sangam on Monday staged a dharna in front of Nizamabad District Collectorate protesting against the social boycott of Mala community people. Sangam members demanded the government to remove social boycott imposed on them by the Village Development Committee (VDC) of Anksapoor and take action against the VDC members.
New Democracy leader V Prabhakar said the VDC has imposed the social boycott on Mala community people as they were not obeying the orders of VDC and not selling their lands for village usage. He added that for the last 40 days the Mala Meeda Vadakattu Sangam members were suffering because of the village committee’s social boycott.
