Google’s biggest campus in city
Google will build its largest campus outside the US in Hyderabad at an investment of Rs 1,000 crore, according to Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao. \"Excited to announce that Google and Telangana government have inked an MoU to build their largest campus (outside the US) in Hyderabad,\" tweeted Rama Rao, who is currently on a visit to the US.

"First campus in Asia. Two million sqft space would be built. Investment of Rs 1,000 crore and in four years employee size to double from 6,500 to 13,000," the minister said. Vice-president (Real Estate & Workplace at Google) David Radcliffe and Telangana IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan signed the MoU at Google headquarters in Mountain View, California, he added.
The search engine major already has a facility in Hyderabad with 7,000 employees. Quoting David Radcliffe, a government statement said the firm would take about 12 months to prepare a plan and work would start in 2016.
