Over 15,000 skip inter supplementary exams

Hyderabad: More than 15,000 candidates have abstained from the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations of English Paper I & II held in two sessions across Telangana State on Tuesday. Of 140,075 registered candidates of first year, 9,157 (8.44%) abstained from exams.

Similarly, of 30,282 candidates of the second year, 2,431 or (9.28%) students skipped the exam in the afternoon session. Two cases of malpractices each were booked in the afternoon session. The examinations were conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, said the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education.
