Bail for T TDP MLA
Hyderabad: Reacting to T TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy being granted bail by the High Court, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) camp has said he cannot escape punishment in “cash-for-vote” scam. This is just a temporary relief, TRS MLA A Jeevan Reddy said while speaking to newsmen here on Tuesday.

He expressed his dismay over jubilant celebrations organised by TDP functionaries at the announcement of Revanth Reddy securing bail. They should remember that this was only a conditional bail and the court did not absolve him of crime, he stressed.
Jeevan Reddy felt that Revanth, who made a mockery of democracy by offering money to an MLA to vote in fvaour of TDP in the Legislative Council elections, would be punished. Meanwhile, Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy said that law would take its own course in the “cash-for-vote” scam.
To save AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, his Cabinet colleagues were resorting to diversionary tactics by raking up the issue of Section-8. They should refrain from making provocative statements aimed at creating bad blood between people of Telugu-speaking states, the Minister advised the TDP leaders.
