75,000 devotees take holy dip in Nizamabad district
Nearly 75,000 devotees took a holy dip on the second day of Godavari Pushkaralu in Nizamabad district. The large number of devotees arrived at Pochampadu and Kandukurti ghats of district. District collector D Ronald Rose reviewed the situation at various ghats in the district.

On the second day, TRS Secretary General K Keshava Rao, Endowment Ministers A Indra Karan Reddy, Balkonda MLA Vemula Prshanth Reddy took a holy dip in the river Godavari at Pochapadu ghat. Keshava Rao performed “pindapradanam” to his ancestors and perfored pooja at Kodanda Ramalayam at Pochampadu.
Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna also participated in the prayers The Srisailam Peetadhipathi Jagadguru Suryasimhana Swamy visited the Kandukurti ghat and performed pooja after taking a holy dip at Triveni Sangamam of Godavari, Manjeera and Haridra rivers at Kandukurti ghats.
