Hyderabad: The street vendors and trolley vendors at Indira Park in Hyderabad on Tuesday entered into a verbal spat with the local police as they were ordered not to continue with their business at the park premises. As the vendors resorted to agitation, the police instructed them not to enter the roads but sell on footpaths. Narasimhulu, a trolley vender, said, he has been selling Nimbu soda outside Indira Park for a long time and asks the police to either allot them some specified space near the park to set up a market or allow them to continue with their business. Reacting on the police instructions to sell on footpaths, he said that he was 60 years old and not strong enough to lift his trolley and place on the footpaths.
