New Delhi: Vociferous TRS MPs joined the pandemonium in the Lower House here on Wednesday seeking bifurcation of the High Court and forced the House to be adjourned. Placard-holding MPs moving into the well of the House was not to the liking of Speaker Sumithra Mahajan, who repeatedly asked them not to resort to such acts. But, it did not pacify them and they kept on raising slogans for a separate HC for Telangana as promised in the AP Reorganisation Act.

Later, holding a dharna in front of the Gandhi statue on the Parliament premises, the TRS MPs shouted slogans asking for the separate HC for the State. Speaking to the media later, K Kavita, Jitender Reddy and G Vinod Kumar reiterated their demand for a separate High Court as the interests of Telangana were being compromised. They said several representations had been made to the Union ministers, particularly, the Law Minister, yet, no result was seen.
