Textile park progress at a fast clip
Minister for Industries, Textiles, Handicrafts and Sugar Jupally Krishna Rao along with Minister for Irrigation, Marketing and Legislative Affairs T Harish Rao, conducted a review meeting on the status of Pashamylaram Textile Park in Medak district along with local MLAs Chinta Prabhakar (Sangareddy) and G Mahipal Reddy (Patancheru).

Industries Secretary Arvind Kumar and Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) Managing Director and Vice Chairman Narasimha Reddy also took part in the meeting with the officials from Handlooms and Textiles and other stakeholders. Out of a total of 88 plots made, 67 were sold to investors, while 21 were vacant. Fifteen units commenced production, while in five other units, civil works were completed and plant and machinery have to be erected.
