Asaduddin Owaisi opposes Osmania General Hospital demolition

Opposing the demolition of the old building of the Osmania General Hospital, MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi said that it is a heritage building not only for Hyderabad but also the entire country.

The Hyderabad MP said that the government must examine the alternatives as seven acres of vacant land is available for construction of new buildings for the hospital. Mr Owaisi said that they are restoring the Quli Qutub Shahi tombs which are more than four centuries old while the Osmania General Hospital is not even a century old and can be restored.

The MIM president stated that he would demand the TRS government not to demolish the heritage building and look into other options.
