Hyderabad: A mass demonstration was held at Indira Park on Friday demanding the introduction of BC Bill in Parliament. Thousands of youth, students and employees along with BC union leaders took part in the demonstration. National Backward Classes Welfare Association President R Krishnaiah alleged that injustice was being meted out to backward classes even after 68 years after the country attained Independence.


Seeking constitutional rights, he urged the Centre to provide 50 per cent reservation in Assembly and Parliament for BCs. He called upon various political parties in the country to extend support to their justified demand. Jajula Srinivas Goud, Gujja Krishna, Ryaga Ramesh, Neela Venkatesh, Anji, K Srinivas among others took part in the protest.
