According to the sources, the Centre seems to have decided to replace the Governor. From the absence of the Chief Ministers of both the states - KCR and Chandrababu at Governor's customary meet at home on Independence Day to the Singh Parivar and others pressuring the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allocation of important posts to their members, the rumours have strengthened.
Reports state that the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval who is a batch mate of the Governor is looking after the interests of Narasimhan in Delhi. TDP had accused the Governor of favouring Telangana over AP and insisted the Centre to replace him. Earlier, Telangana too demanded the Governor being sacked for his statement that the state would increase the influence of Maoists.
