Helmet must for vehicle registration

Hyderabad: Regional Transport Authority officials on Thursday took a decision to make helmet compulsory for the persons to get a new two-wheeler registered at the RTA, Hyderabad.

An internal circular has been passed in the Hyderabad RTA asking the officials to insist the public on helmets when they come for vehicle registration.The increasing number of accidents and fatalities seems to have made the officials to take the decision of making helmet compulsory to register a new bike.
