Cancel land allotted to ISKCON: Nagender

Former Minister Danam Nagender on Friday urged the Telangana government to cancel the five acres of land allotted to ISKCON in Banjara Hills for the construction of Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy temple.
Hyderabad: Former Minister Danam Nagender on Friday urged the Telangana government to cancel the five acres of land allotted to ISKCON in Banjara Hills for the construction of Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy temple.
The Congress leader called on IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy, T Srinivas Yadav and Padma Rao Goud and discussed on this issue.
He appealed them to recover the land in the larger interests of the public.
Later he told the media that he sought the government to cancel the land. Nagender exuded confidence that the government would take back the land.
The temple was ought to be built by the Yadadri Temple authorities (Nalgonda) and the Congress leaders have been demanding for the same for some time.
