Telangana Excise and Prohibition minister T Padma Rao Goud met Congress leader and former minister Danam Nagender at his residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The unexpected meeting between the TRS leader and Congress leader raised many an eyebrow and evoked discussions in political circles.
The meeting raised eyebrows as there was speculation doing the rounds that Danam is likely to switch his loyalties to the TRS. Sources in the TRS say that the meeting between the duo went on for an hour.
There were reports that the TRS leaders are trying to woo several leaders from Hyderabad to strengthen the party before the GHMC elections.
