Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) official spokesperson Mallu Ravi said the party announced Sarve Satyanarayana as its candidate for the Warangal parliamentary byelection due to unexpected developments. Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday, Ravi exuded confidence that the Congress candidate would win by a one lakh vote margin.
Alleging that the TRS government was fear-stricken, Mallu said the government thought that Opposition parties had no right to question the government. He said his party would not be affected with the incident took place at Rajaiah’s residence. The party leaders would launch door-to-door campaign in Hanamkonda and Parakala on November 6. The campaign would be taken up in Bhoopalapally, Warangal East and Wardhannapet Assembly constituencies on November 7, he added.
