Diwali bash at Raj Bhavan
Governor of two Telugu States, ESL Narasimhan along with his wife Vimala Narasimhan hosted pre-Diwali celebrations at Raj Bhavan on Monday for the families of officers and staff members of the Bhavan.
Hyderabad: Governor of two Telugu States, ESL Narasimhan along with his wife Vimala Narasimhan hosted pre-Diwali celebrations at Raj Bhavan on Monday for the families of officers and staff members of the Bhavan.
The Governor wished that the festival of lights will brighten the lives of the employees and their family members. Special Chief Secretary to Governor Dr N Ramesh Kumar and other officers as well as their family members participated in the function.
While children presented dance and skits, senior officers of the Raj Bhavan attracted the audience with a humorous parody which went by the name ‘Manalo Koteeswarulu Evaru’.
Pre-diwali celebration is an annual occasion where all the officers of the Raj Bhavan and their family would participate in various socio-cultural programmes. This year, various sports and games were also organised for the staff members.
The celebrations concluded with illumination and crackers being burst by the Governor which was followed by lunch.
