Meira Kumar who is campaigning for the party candidate Sarve Suryanarayana alleged that KCR had done nothing for the welfare and development of Telangana but misled people with false assurances.

Stating that KCR changed his ways after being elected as the Chief Minister of Telangana, Meira Kumar said that knowing that AP will be hit with revenue deficit post bifurcation, Congress still helped carving out separate Telangana state. The Congress leader urged people to vote for Sarve Satyanarayana in the Warangal by elections to teach KCR a befitting lesson for making false assurances.
