OCTOPUS conducts mock drill at DLF Tech Park
In view of the ongoing terrorist attacks across the world, the Cyberabad police on Tuesday organised a mock drill by the OCTOPUS (Organisation for Counter Terrorist Operations) teams to create awareness on the measures of rescue that have to be taken up during a terrorist attack.

Hyderabad: In view of the ongoing terrorist attacks across the world, the Cyberabad police on Tuesday organised a mock drill by the OCTOPUS (Organisation for Counter Terrorist Operations) teams to create awareness on the measures of rescue that have to be taken up during a terrorist attack.
Initially, hundreds of techies working in various companies in DLF Tech Park in Gachibowli were panicked for some time on seeing tens of police personnel, dressed in black carrying weapons, entering their offices.Upon learning that it was a mock drill by the police to explain about the measures that have to be taken during an attack, the techies applauded the OCTOPUS team.
A team of over 40 police personnel have participated in the mock drill and explained the precautionary measures that have to be taken up by the security personnel at the tech park. The teams also explained the rescue measures during an attack on the security personnel.
