From December 2, Air India will be offering seamless travel between Hyderabad and San Francisco, via New Delhi.

Hyderabad: From December 2, Air India will be offering seamless travel between Hyderabad and San Francisco, via New Delhi. Starting the journey from Hyderabad, the flight will travel non-stop from Delhi to San Francisco and passengers travelling to San Francisco will undergo all custom and immigration formalities at Hyderabad airport itself for their onward journey.

Flight AI-127 from Hyderabad to Delhi will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Hyderabad at 2105 hrs with a B777-300ER aircraft. The flight will arrive in Delhi at 2315 hrs. Flight AI-173 to San Francisco will leave Delhi on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 0235 hrs and will be operated with B777-200LR aircraft.

This flight will arrive into San Francisco at 0600 hrs (local time) on the same day. The return flight will depart at 1030 hrs and arrive at Delhi next day (Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays) and at 1740 hrs depart to Hyderabad to arrive at 1955 hrs by B777-300ER aircraft.

A Ram Babu, Station Manager, Air India Hyderabad, said that, “The flight from Hyderabad to San Francisco has the advantage of convenient timings and connections.” He mentioned that San Francisco is Air India’s 4th direct flight to US apart from the existing three destinations New York, Newark and Chicago.

The introduction of nonstop flight between Delhi and San Francisco paves way for most awaited and well sought after connection between Silicon Valley and Hyderabad, the prominent IT hub in India.” Passengers will have huge benefits travelling to San Francisco as they will undergo immigration and customs at their boarding points itself and can have comfortable journey further. Passengers can enjoy non-stop entertainment, specially chosen food and best of the comfort, Air India officials said.
