Hyderabad: Two gunmen of Telangana Excise Minister T Padma Rao were booked for assaulting a youth, for accidentally crashing in to the Minister’s car at Secunderabad on Wednesday night.

The youth Ganesh, 21, son of Ranga Reddy District Seventh Metropolitan Magistrate Srinivasa Rao, at 9 pm on Wednesday went to a book shop near St Ann’s College in Secunderabad. While returning home located at Judge Quarters, the bike he was traveling on dashed into the Minister’s car (TS 09 EA 5970) near a church located in the vicinity.

Enraged by the incident, the Minister’s gunmen got down the car and thrashed Ganesh. When Ganesh returned home at 11 pm with injuries, his father inquired about the issue. Later, the Magistrate lodged a complaint against the Minister’s gunmen with the Marredpally police. The police have shifted the case to Gopalpuram police station based on the place of incidence, sources said.
