As part of this, she gave a detailed power point presentation to the scientists on the priority projects like Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha. Both these projects are aimed at making the district irrigation rich and enable revival of agriculture in the district.

“The district is facing drought for the past five years due to lack of rains. We want the scientists to utilise the innovative and scientific technology to help us find the natural resources like forests, minerals and other water resources like lakes and ponds to help us design a comprehensive plan to eradicate backwardness and improve the agriculture sector in the district,” she said.

She also elaborated to the scientists that the water levels in the district were depleting with every passing day, because of which the agriculture sector was in deep crises in the district. “We have designed Bhuvan important software which can beat the Google earth software and detect all the geological resources in the country,” informed the scientists at NRSC.
