Horticulture varsity foundation on Jan 7
Works related to the much-awaited Horticulture and Forest University in Mulugu area in Medak district are likely to begin in January first week.
Hyderabad: Works related to the much-awaited Horticulture and Forest University in Mulugu area in Medak district are likely to begin in January first week. The government has already taken a decision to set up the horticulture varsity and is ready to conduct a programme to lay foundation stone for the varsity on January 7.
Union Agriculture Minister Radhamohan Singh is expected to attend the programme. The Telangana government pursued with the Centre on this and Radhamohan Singh reportedly agreed to attend it. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will participate in the programme and the varsity will be named after Telangana stalwart, freedom fighter late Acharya Konda Lakshman Bapuji as a fitting tribute. The State government will take up construction of the varsity after the programme.
