Allot 2BHK to all eligible poor: CPM
Communist Party of India (Marxist) three town division secretary Yerra Srikanth demanded the government to allot double bedroom houses (2BHK) to poor people, living in rented houses since many years.
Khammam: Communist Party of India (Marxist) three town division secretary Yerra Srikanth demanded the government to allot double bedroom houses (2BHK) to poor people, living in rented houses since many years.
A meeting was held with people organisations of CPM here on Friday, under division leader P Naga Sulochana.
Addressing the meeting, Srikanth said thousands of poor and middle class people have been living in rented houses in Khammam and facing lot of problems to pay rent.
Reminding the TRS promise to allot 2BHK to all the eligible people, he sought the government to allot the houses to all the eligible poor, based on the ‘Total House hold Survey’ that was conducted during last year.
He alleged that the government was trying to allot houses to a few people only when there is thousands of eligible poor living in Khammam. The government was trying to cheat people in the name of resurveys, he added.
