There has been simmering dispute between APFEF and the Telangana Cinema Industry Employees Federation (TCIEF) for the last few days. The TFIEF has taken umbrage at the APFEF taking a decision to impose a ban on Rambabu though he hails from Andhra Pradesh.

“It will have serious ramification if APFEF carries out its threat to impose a ban on Rambabu, He is one of the respected technician in the industry” said Laxman, general secretary, Make-up Union, TFIEF. After director Teja made “Hora Hori” with all-Telangana crew, Telangana cine workers are working in big-ticket films like “Rudramadevi” and Gunasekar’s upcoming classic “Rudrapratapudu.”

“Telugu filmmakers are recognising our talent and giving work in all the 24 crafts, so that hundreds of our guys are able to earn a livelihood since Telangana-born should be given more opportunity in the new State” added Laxman who has been spearheading a campaign against AP Federation.

“We are willing to share our work in the ratio of 70- 30 with AP employees in big films in a fond hope that they will understand that Telangana technicians have a right to claim a slice of pie” he pointed out.
