CPI (M) will win municipal polls
CPI (M) would win the Khammam corporation elections, said Pothineni Sudharshan Rao, party’s district secretary. Even though the Opposition parties play cheap politics or does the global publicity, it is the CPM party which is going to win the Khammam Corporation told the district secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI-Marxist) Pothineni Sudharshan Rao here in Khammam on Tuesday.
Khammam: CPI (M) would win the Khammam corporation elections, said Pothineni Sudharshan Rao, party’s district secretary. Even though the Opposition parties play cheap politics or does the global publicity, it is the CPM party which is going to win the Khammam Corporation told the district secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI-Marxist) Pothineni Sudharshan Rao here in Khammam on Tuesday.
He was addressing a meeting attended by party activists in Khammam town on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, P Sudharshan Rao said, "Previously elected Khammam municipality chairmen Chirravuri and Afroz Sameena of CPI (M) had successfully completed their period without giving any scope for corruption.
Under CPI (M), the developmental works of drinking water were done at a cost of Rs 72 crore." He alleged that the ruling TRS misused its political power to win Warangal and Hyderabad elections. By cheating and making false promises, the TRS had won in both Warangal and in Hyderabad.
But in the ensuing corporation elections, the CPI (M) would win in major divisions and teach a lesson to the ruling party, he said. Party district leaders Y Srikanth, Y Srinivas Rao, B Yakaiah, Shaik Babu, M Rama Rao, S K Saidulu, Naga Sulochana, G B Chowdari, A Venkanna, A Ilaiah, Y Appa Rao, B Ramana Reddy, P Upendra Chary and Y Sukanya were present along with others.
