Union Minister visits Yadadri temple
Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said that the Centre would extend all possible help to the Telangana State for its development.
Nalgonda: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said that the Centre would extend all possible help to the Telangana State for its development. Speaking to the media after having darshan of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Yadadri on Wednesday, the Union Minister said as the Centre was keen on extending a helping hand to Telangana State for its speedy development, the BJP-led NDA government has allocated Rs 1 lakh crore in the budget for the purpose.
Welfare schemes and development programmes could be successfully implemented only when there were cordial relations between the Centre and the States, he observed. Expressing happiness over having Yadadir Lord’s darshan as a Union Minister, Prakash Nadda exuded confidence that Yadadri would soon emerge as one of the top pilgrim centre in the country.
The Centre would examine the matter of extending MMTS trains up to Yadadri, he added. Referring to the fluoride problem in Nalgonda district, the Union Minister assured that the Centre would definitely take measures to resolve the issue. A research team of Medical Council of India would be sent to the State on cleansing of the Musi River.
The Centre would soon release funds for the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) at Bibinagar, he added. Earlier, the temple priests welcomed the Union Minister with “purna khumbam”. The Central Minister also participated in the special pooja programme in the temple and offered prayers. BJP leaders Veerelli Chandrasekhar, Vanam Venkateshwarlu and others accompanied the Union Minister.
