KCR heads for Mumbai to sign the Irrigation pact

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with his team of ministers and government officials has left for Mumbai on Monday to sign the Irrigation pact or agreement with Maharashtra Government over the sharing of Godavari waters and construction of five barrages - Medigadda, Tummidihetti on Pranahita, Chanakha-Korata on Penganga, Pinpahad and Rajapeta.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with his team of ministers and government officials has left for Mumbai on Monday to sign the Irrigation pact or agreement with Maharashtra Government over the sharing of Godavari waters and construction of five barrages - Medigadda, Tummidihetti on Pranahita, Chanakha-Korata on Penganga, Pinpahad and Rajapeta on the river benefiting both the states.

The team of Ministers part of the visit include Irrigation Minister Harish Rao, Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna, Housing Minister Indrakaran Reddy, State Advisor D Srinivas, Planning Board vice-chairman Niranjan Reddy and government advisor Vidyasagar.
