A two judge PIL bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice P Naveen Rao on Tuesday adjourned a petition seeking CBI inquiry into an alleged encounter of alleged Maoists. The bench was dealing with a petition filed by Chilaka Chandrasekhar.

The petitioner complained that the killing of Maoists Shruthi and Vidyasagar in alleged encounter in forest area near Tadwai mandal in Warangal district was staged and sought directions to the State government to order an inquiry by the CBI.

Additional Advocate General J Ramachandra Rao informed the court that the National Human Rights Commission had directed the Warangal police to submit report of post mortem to it. He sought a suggestion whether the government had to send a copy to the Commission or not in view of present petition. The bench said that it was up to the government to send it or not.
