BCYWA demands filling of vacant posts
The members of the district Backward Classes Youth Welfare Association staged a dharna in front the District Collectorate here on Friday demanding filling up of all vacant posts in the State. They raised slogans against the State government for its delaying tactics in taking up the job recruitment drive.

They raised slogans against the State government for its delaying tactics in taking up the job recruitment drive.
Addressing the demonstrators, BC Youth Welfare district president Duduku Lakshminarayana said that the unemployed expected that they would get better job opportunities after the formation of Telangana State, but their dreams were totally shattered. He lashed out at the TRS government for not fulfilling its promise of filling up one lakh vacant posts.
He reminded the demonstrators that students and unemployed youth played a crucial role in the agitation for separate Telangana Statehood. He demanded the State government to increase number of posts under the Group-I category from 439 to 3,500. The posts of Group-II should be filled up as per the available vacancies.
He also demanded the State government to take steps to fill up the 18,000 Group-III posts. He also urged the government to issue a notification immediately to fill up the 38,000 Group-IV vacant posts. Referring to the postponement in issuing of the TET notification, he said that the government should immediately issue the TET notification and also DSC notification.
He sought the government to release the arrears of tuition fee reimbursement of the students which were still pending for the last two years. The Association district president Ch Ramesh, vice president G Anjaiah Goud, Treasurer K Aravind and others were also present.
