The NTPC has crossed the internal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) target fixed for the electricity generation ahead of the schedule for the year 2015-16.  The station has crossed the annual target of 20030 MU (Million Units) at 10.30 am on Monday.

Ramagundam (Karimnagar): The NTPC has crossed the internal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) target fixed for the electricity generation ahead of the schedule for the year 2015-16. The station has crossed the annual target of 20030 MU (Million Units) at 10.30 am on Monday.

During the current financial year, till date, the station has achieved a PLF of 88.55 % and availability for of 94.15%. Also, the station has created a benchmark in operation field as NTPC unit 7 has run continuously for 458 days and the unit 1 DDCMIS along with electrical works were completed in a record period of 23 days and 03 hours.

The station has been conferred with many national and international awards in the current fiscal year. Internationally, while the top plant award from POWER Magazine, USA has affirmed the station’s superlative performance despite being an aging plant, the bronze award for meritorious performance, swarn shakti overall champions and awards in four other categories.

The overall BE Excellence Award, NABL accreditation and many more have further glorified Brand Ramagundam at the national level. Expressing his happiness, Executive Director, Prasant Kumar Mohapatra lauded all the employees for their faith and trust, hard work, sincerity, dedication and teamwork in achieving the targets.
