Ayyappa Samiti gifts a grand wedding to orphan girl
An orphan girl entered into wedlock with the help of Ayyappa Seva Samiti at the Markandeya temple here on Saturday.
Kothakota (Mahbubnagar): An orphan girl entered into wedlock with the help of Ayyappa Seva Samiti at the Markandeya temple here on Saturday.
Sharing her views, the bride, Anita who studied up to Intermediate and works as a singer with an orchestra group, responded saying that she never thought that her wedding would be performed on this scale and thanked the Seva Samiti for their support.
She lost her mother when she was six. Her father on the pretext of the girl being neglected at home got her admitted to Cheyuta, an orphanage. She completed Intermediate and also acquired skills in music.
She was acquainted with tabla player with the orchestra team Aditya of Chandapur in Wanaparthy mandal. Soon it blossomed into love. Deciding to enter into wedlock, the couple approached the Ayyappa Seva Samithi, which arranged their marriage.
