The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the State on April 20. Most places may record maximum temperature between 40 and 45 degrees. Heat wave conditions will continued to prevail in Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Warangal and Nalgonda districts on April 20 and 21.

Dry weather is likely to prevail in Telangana. On April 19 rain occurred at isolated places in the State. There was an appreciable fall in the day temperatures at one or two places. The temperatures were above normal at many places. The highest maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad, Hanamkonda and Nizamabad, during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday.

The other recordings elsewhere in the State were: Mahbubnagar 42.3, Ramagundam 42.2, Khammam 41.3, Bhadrachalam, Nalgonda 41.2, Medak 41.1, Hakimpet 39.2, Hyderabad 39.1.
