Talking to reporters during his Adilabad district visit, Harish Rao questioned Jagan whether it was not the fact that his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had diverted water to Rayalaseema doing injustice to Telangana.
He lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan for opposing the projects for their selfish politics.
When neighbouring states like Karnataka and Maharashtra were trying to resolve issues by holding talks, Harish Rao said that Andhra Pradesh was complicating the issues. “There is no response from AP Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwar Rao for my invitation for talks,” he said.
